不少译者仍然采用结构转换的方式进行翻译，即无论是否理解原文，运用双语词典给出的对等词，把原文的语法结构，转换为译入语的语法结构。这也是机器翻译普遍采用的方法。通过这种方式获得的译文，通常只有个别句子意思正确、符合表达习惯。

如果通过结构转换无法得到通顺、达意的句子，就要采用写作的方式，用自己的语言，把原文的意思准确表达出来。如果不使用原文的措辞方式可以更好地传递原文的意思，就不要使用原文的措辞方式。原文的句子结构与译文也没有任何关系。举两个例子：

示例1：色彩总是最先进入人们的视觉感受系统，不同程度地影响着人们的情感和情绪。

机器翻译：Color is always first to enter the system of people's visual experience, to varying degrees, impact on people's feelings and emotions.

原译：Color always comes first into people's visual system, which can variously affect people's feelings and emotions.

改译：Color is one of the first things that strike the eye, and it affects our emotion and mood to a certain extent.

示例2：服装造型是服饰语言体系中重要的符号之一，服装造型注重服装廓形和服装比例关系的设计。

机器翻译：Modelling of clothes is one in the important symbols of an apparel in the linguistic system, and modelling of clothes emphasizes a design on a percentage relation between the shape around the clothes and clothes.

原译：Apparel sihouette is one of the important symbols in apparel language system. It pays great attention to the design of the outline and the proportional relationship of the apparel.

改译：Shapes are an important sign in the language of dress, as they define the outline and proportions of the whole design.

这两个例子都是使用自己的语言表达意思，实现让读者读懂的目的。
